U.K. Unveils Tempest Fighter Concept as Trailblazer for New Combat Air Strategy

The U.K. government launched its first ever Combat Air Strategy at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow. Unveiling a concept model for the new generation Tempest fighter, Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said that the aircraft, which could be operational by 2035, is needed to protect Britain and its allies from dangerous new threats.
