Patients facing medical emergencies in remote communities across Western Canada can struggle to get the treatment they need in time. The community and government-backed STARS air ambulance service has spent almost four decades significantly boosting survival rates by deploying helicopters, like its current Airbus H145 fleet, to get expert help where it’s needed in time to make a difference.
