Thanks to its hand painted tiger livery by artist Clodoaldo Quintana, Embraer’s new E190-E2 narrowbody made for one of the most eye-catching sights at the Singapore Airshow. The aircraft on display, still equipped with test instrumentation, recently finished its flight trials before making the trip to the show. An evolution of the E190-E1, the aircraft features a host of improvements centering on performance, serviceability, and cabin comfort. The company expects imminent Brazilian certification, and launch customer Wideroe of Norway has scheduled first revenue service for April 24th.
