The FAA has approved PWI’s LED cabin lighting lighting system for the Learjet 35/35A and the Learjet 36/36A business jet aircraft.

The PWI LED cabin lighting system uses 4,000K neutral white color temperature LEDs that are powered by the aircraft-supplied 28 volts. The new LED system installation reuses the original aircraft lighting wiring.

“There are several hundred dedicated Learjet 35 and 36 owner/operators that are very excited to see continuing support for this aircraft—in production for 20 years. A good run by any measure,” said Robi Lorik, PWI President/CEO. “This specific PMA approval is especially gratifying in that PWI was the OEM cabin lighting supplier to Learjet. I remember back to our first complete aircraft cabin lighting system in 1972,” he reminisced.

PWI is based in Wichita and provides cabin lights for business jets including Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Cessna Citation, Learjet, and King Air.
