GAMI Secures Piston Fleet Approval for Unleaded Avgas
The FAA, which gave fleet approvals for use of GAMI's G100UL in piston aircraft, plans to use the same review process for other unleaded candidates.
George Braly, co-founder of GAMI, at EAA AirVenture 2021, announced receipt of an FAA STC approving the use of his company's G100UL high-octane unleaded fuel in a variety of Lycoming engines. Now the fuel is approved for all spark-ignition aircraft engines. (Photo: Matt Thurber/AIN)
