Retired NBA player Kobe Bryant and four others reportedly died Sunday morning in a crash of a Sikorsky S-76B. The helicopter went down on a hillside in Calabasas, which is north of Los Angeles, at approximately 10 a.m. local time. Overcast skies and heavy fog were reported in the area, and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) instituted a ground stop due to the weather conditions. Bryant was believed to be on his way to his basketball academy in Thousand Oaks, California.
