Mark Whitson, who formerly worked as in-house counsel for Satcom Direct, recently opened his own practice in Brevard County, Florida, called Whitson Law, PA.

Whitson started his 22-year law career while serving with the U.S. Marines. When it comes to aviation, he has experience with aircraft buying, selling and leasing, government and commercial operational contracting, and commercial transportation accident investigation and litigation. He is a commercial pilot and flight instructor.

With decades of experience under his belt, Whitson said he hopes to help his clients, while also learning from them, so he can continue to offer top legal assistance. “I want to know what people want to know,” he told AIN. “Where do they think a lawyer can help them? What do they wish lawyers did more of? Or perhaps, what do they wish lawyers did less of? How can I—or anyone like me—be of service?”
