Elite Simulation Solutions (Booth 26-27, Hangar D) brought its new Elite Pro Panel 3 instrumentation and control console to Sun ’n‘ Fun 2018. The third iteration of the company’s hardware for desktop and flight training device software includes control loading on the pitch and roll axes, as well as removable switch panels and throttle quadrants; designed to better emulate specific aircraft.

“We are coming out with this new version of our software in the next few weeks,” Wayne Keyes, director, business development for Elite Simulation Solutions, told AIN. The software will accommodate 4K widescreen panels and nighttime panels for emulating night flying.

The new software is built with an AHRS instrumentation focus. “The screens mimic a lot of the aircraft that are transitioning between analog and glass cockpits,” said Keyes. “We also have the GTN 650 and GTN 750 navigators with full functionality. And when you are using our software with touchscreen hardware [you] will have touchscreen functionality on the navigators just like in the real thing.”
