Hartzell Brings NextGen Props to Sun 'n' Fun
Hartzell technology is pulling the single-engine GA fleet into the future.
Hartzell has STCs for its composite Trailblazer propellers on 17 aircraft and counting.

Hartzell Propeller is at Sun ’n‘ Fun 2018 this week with its next-generation prop technologies in Booth B-035/036. This year the company is teaming with American aerobatic national champion Mike Goulian, who is performing during the show in his Extra 330XC equipped with the Hartzell Claw propeller. Goulian will be available at the Hartzell booth for autographs at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10.

"Hartzell's latest Top Prop, a three-blade swept metal propeller for the Piper Turbo Lance and Saratoga, was awarded an STC in late March," said Hartzell Propeller president Joe Brown. "It delivers significant takeoff and climb performance improvements."

The company is using scimitar-blended airfoil designs for metal prop blades and for carbon-fiber structural composite blades. Brown noted that Hartzell's carbon-fiber Trailblazer props are available on 17 aircraft models, ranging from the American Champion Scout through several single-engine Cessna models, the Extra 330XC, Van’s RV-8, and Waco Great Lakes, with several more in process.

Along with a full slate of airshow appearances in the United States, Europe, and China, this year the company is supporting the Red Bull Air Race Championship as its propeller technical partner at upcoming races in Europe, Asia, Russia, and the U.S.
