Daher's TBM single-engine turboprop program continued to strengthen, with more than 800 delivered to date and 145 of those newer-generation TBM 900s and 930s. New TBMs became available with the Elite flexible quick-change combi interior, the Elite Privacy modular lavatory option and a quick-change air ambulance version. The latter was designed to take advantage of regulatory changes in Europe permitting single-engine charter operations.
January 2017
Daher delivered its first 2017 TBM 930 that incorporated new standard equipment and cabin features. This included a redesigned cabin with new seat cushions, headrests and armrests, as well as seats covered with Ultraleather synthetic fabric for increased longevity.

New turboprops such as the Daher TBM 930 contributed to the increase of turboprops delivered in 2016. According to numbers compiled by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, turboprop deliveries were up by 4.5 percent to 582 in 2016.
March 2017
Daher announced that it expected its aircraft to provide more service within Europe, noting EASA’s recent approval for single-engine turbine operations in instrument meteorological conditions. Daher’s TBM 850 was first used in such operations in Europe in 2013, but that was under a special exemption granted to French air-taxi Voldirect by France’s Direction Générale de l'aviation Civile.
April 2017
Daher unveiled the TBM 910 at the Sun ’n Fun Fly-In & Expo 2017 as the newest member of the TBM business turboprop family, succeeding the TBM 900. The new model is priced at $3.919 million and incorporates the next-generation Garmin G1000NXi integrated flight deck, as well as cabin interior and safety enhancements. According to Daher, the TBM 910 has the same range, performance and technical features as its predecessor.
Daher announced at Sun ’n Fun 2017 that two A&P students from the Central Florida Aerospace Academy in Lakeland, Florida, would be selected for a paid internship program for the summer at Daher's TBM service center in Pompano Beach, Florida. They would work as apprentices in either the maintenance or avionics shops at the turboprop OEM’s U.S. headquarters.
June 2017
At the Paris Airshow, Daher showcased its capabilities with new materials for the first time, including a thermoplastic composite wing rib. Daher declined to reveal further details of its long-discussed new aircraft program, although it did confirm that the new aircraft type would not form part of its TBM series of single-engine turboprops.
July 2017
Daher brought a replica Morane-Saulnier Type L Parasol World War I training airplane to its EAA AirVenture display. This came after an intensive six-year construction process by a team of volunteers consisting of retired and active Daher employees. Following the display at AirVenture, Daher donated the Parasol to the EAA Museum.
August 2017
Daher announced it had started offering avionics upgrade kits that can retrofit in-service TBM models that have Garmin G1000 systems—which includes TBM 850s and 900s, as well as modernized TBM 700s—to the next-generation G1000NXi flight deck configuration.
