Scheme Designers is marking its 20th anniversary this week at Sun ânâ Fun 2017, and is also holding free aircraft paint scheme/vinyl design workshops and, once again, a Scheme Designers scavenger hunt at the show.
Over the past 20 years, the company has worked with more than 12,000 aircraft owners and businesses in some 140 countries to design customized aircraft paint schemes. It also collaborates with business and general aviation OEMs on custom livery for factory-new aircraft.
Scheme Designers president and chief designer Craig Barnett will present âDesigning the Perfect Paint Scheme/Vinyl Design for Your Aircraftâ twice during the airshowâon Wednesday, April 5 at 9 a.m. in Forum Room CFAA-3 and Thursday, April 6 at noon in CFAA-7. During these sessions, Barnett will share best design practices for several aircraft makes and models. The workshops will include hundreds of photos and design renderings
Meanwhile, the company is hosting its fourth scavenger hunt at Sun ânâ Fun, where participants search the display grounds for aircraft sporting a Scheme Designers paint scheme and special logo sticker. Participants track these aircraft on an entry form, which are available at the Scheme Designers booth (A-017) and must be returned by 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. The entry form with the most correct number of such aircraft will win a custom desktop aircraft model from Factory Direct Models.
