American Firms Up Commitment for Hydrogen-powered CRJ700 Regional Jets
The U.S. carrier has agreed to buy 100 of ZeroAvia's hydrogen-electric engines
ZeroAvia has used Dash 8 aircraft as a testbed for the ZA2000 hydrogen-electric propulsion system it intends to use to convert 70-seat CRJ700 regional jets for customers including American Airlines.
