FlightSense, a company formed in 2024 to bring an AI-powered platform to the flight training market, recently rolled out its latest update, v1.3, which provides an array of new features.

Powered by FlightSense’s Amelia AI technology, the platform is designed to make flight training more efficient and personalized through a dashboard that enables students to track progress against FAA Airman Certification Standards and flight instructors to share student notes and proficiency monitoring.

V1.3 includes a new training insights dashboard with a real-time snapshot of progress, log activity, and skill trends that is powered by AI-driven analysis that helps identify strengths and pinpoint areas for improvement.

Further, the update includes task-specific performance tracking with detailed instructor feedback, task scores, and AI-generated insights. It also provides enhanced instructor tools with structured feedback, task-level scoring, and more seamless student tracking.

The company said the technology has been gaining traction since it was unveiled last year, in use with flight schools, independent instructors, and student pilots.
