Flight Pro International has added multi-factor authentication to its Flight Pro Connect (FPC) trip management software, another facet in its security-related updates, as well as mobile device access for FPC users.

After successfully completing pen test audits simulating real-world attacks in the final quarter of last year, Flight Pro International implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) in its latest security upgrade to FPC. The MFA feature was also subjected to pen testing. “By requiring all mobile and desktop FPC users to double-verify their identity on a per-device approach, the risk of a sensitive data breach descends to near-zero,” according to the company.

Other recent upgrades to FPC include offline operations with full functionality for up to 14 days; user feedback with a star/points rating system or comments; in-app messaging center for mobile devices; and certification for Europe’s EU-LISA entry/exit system.

“Users can search by airport ICAO or IATA codes, airport names, city names, or view a comprehensive list of all airports within a country,” said Roberto Cormack, executive v-p and CIO at FPI. “Beyond basic search functionality, they gain instant access to critical operational details, including preferred FBO and handler profiles, airport of entry, customs and CIQ information, airport restrictions, slot and PPR requirements, landing permits, and more.”
