A lifelong aviation enthusiast who joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in 2007, Curt came to&nbsp;the publication&nbsp;from the broadcast industry where he was a national science and technology television reporter and producer. He writes on the FBO field, aviation finance, and sustainable aviation and occasionally contributes to&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;sister publication&nbsp;Business Jet Traveler. Curt was a member of the AINtv reporting staff that won the 2008 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award for Best Airshow Daily. That same year, he was a finalist for another AJOYA award. He earned an AJOYA for Best Business Aviation Submission in 2018 and was a finalist in that category in 2021. He received the National Air Transportation Association’s&nbsp; Aviation Journalist Award in 2012 and won a Pegasus Sapphire Business Aviation Award for outstanding journalism in 2021.
Before joining AIN, Curt worked with&nbsp;Consumer Reports’ television division, CRTV, and for several local television news staffs. An honors graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1995. Curt lives in New York State with his wife and two young sons.

Luxaviation Group has partnered with Vietnam's Thien Minh Group (TMG),&nbsp;focusing particularly on its Hai Au Aviation (HAA) subsidiary—the country’s largest private jet operator—to share expertise on aviation, travel, and hospitality services. The deal marks the first step on a path toward future collaboration between the two companies.
In addition to assisting HAA with the sales of aircraft block hours through its own distribution channels, Luxaviation will provide TMG with operational capacity, networks, and relationships with aviation authorities.&nbsp;TMG, which has nearly three decades of experience, will support Luxaviation with IT, digital marketing, and flight operations.
“We are very excited about this future collaboration, as it underlines our strategy to work together with local partners to accelerate our global expansion,” said Luxaviation Group CEO Patrick Hansen. “We are impressed by TMG’s extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sector, and we are certain that we can continue to grow together in this market.”
TMG is&nbsp;one of Asia’s leading all-inclusive travel services providers and has more than 2,500 employees worldwide. HAA was established in 2014&nbsp;providing commercial seaplane service&nbsp;and expanded its portfolio in&nbsp;2020 to&nbsp;include aircraft management and jet operations.
TMG CEO Tran Trong Kien added, “This partnership brings together two market leaders in the aviation sector, and combines their expertise to expand Hai Au Aviation’s offering.”
