VSE Aviation’s (Booth 3085) GlobalParts business has signed a two-year deal with Avian Inventory Management to distribute more than 200,000 Embraer parts and stocking units for operators of the Embraer Phenom, Praetor, Legacy, and Lineage models.
The new program provides customers with immediate access to stock inventory via Avian’s Orlando distribution center for same-day order fulfillment. Embraer selected Avian to implement a long-term parts strategy on surplus material. A specifically selected sales channel partner such as VSE maximizes the value of Embraer’s inventory. VSE provides access to critical spares and has more than 6,000 customers in over 90 countries.
Pedro Gonzalez, VSE vice president and general manager, said, “Our superior technical and customer support in this [business aviation] market was a critical factor in the selection of VSE as a partner."
VSE also recently expanded a current agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada to support its engines in the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region via the pre-positioning of products in-region in an agreement that covers 6,000 flight-critical components for more than 100 business, general aviation, and regional aircraft. VSE expects to serve 4,000 aircraft in 57 different countries.
