Portable ACA Ionizers Featured at Duncan's BACE Booth
Duncan Aviation has ACA ionization system installation packages for Bombardier Global and Challenger 300 and 350 jets.

Duncan Aviation is demonstrating Aviation Clean Air portable Ion Distribution Units this week at its NBAA-BACE booth (#2401). The electrically powered units are designed to decontaminate cabin air and interior surfaces while aircraft are on the ground. They can also be used in passenger lounges as well as boarding and holding areas.

The Lincoln, Nebraska-based MRO, which is marking its 65th anniversary this year, said the use of the units at its booth will create increased air ions, “potentially providing pathogen protection” and allowing visitors to see them and learn about their benefits. The company has been installing an ACA air-cleaning ionization component that works with an aircraft’s environmental control system to purify the air and surfaces before, during, and after a flight.

Duncan has ACA ionization system installation packages for Bombardier Global and Challenger 300/350 that includes the STC, ionizers, and PMA parts kits. Installation of the packages requires modification of an aircraft’s air ducts.
