Switzerland-based aviation fuel provider iFuel has expanded its services to include trip support for business aircraft operators. The company made its debut last year with a focus on making aviation more efficient and environmentally friendly. As global air travel restrictions continue to ease in the post-Covid environment, it noticed that flight operators are seeking flexibility and ease in their travel planning.
As a result, iFuel will now offer 24/7 international trip support including regulatory services, overflight and landing permits, flight planning, ground handling, weather and notam briefings, and flight watch. In addition to the operational side, it will also provide hotel and transportation booking, security, and catering, along with its core worldwide aircraft fueling services.
“We started out as an aviation fuel provider in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, during the times when most of the aviation industry suffered terrible losses,” said company founder and CEO Rinad El-Rabaa, adding its main goal during that period was to simply supply its clients with innovative solutions and sustainable aviation fuel. “But now as we see the market slowly recover from the past year, we also realize that new demand for trip support is emerging all throughout.”
