Air Elite Member FBOs Become Carbon Neutral
World Fuel Services announced this week that 43 members of its sponsored Air Elite FBO Network achieved carbon neutrality in their operations for 2019.
Among the 43 Air Elite FBO members to achieve carbon neutrality for their 2019 operations was Granite Air Center, the lone service provider at New Hampshire's Lebanon Municipal Airport. In 2018, the company installed a 200kw solar array on the roof of its hangar, which has helped reduce the facility's environmental impact. The company is working to convert much of its equipment and vehicles to electrical power to further reduce its direct energy consumption.
