I have been attending NBAA Conventions for as long as I can remember. I always say we are in the people business, not the airplane business. People selling people airplanes. NBAA has created over the years the greatest people venue our industry knows.

In fact, the gatherings they have created have been the model for every other aviation industry event all over the globe. Thank you NBAA for that gift.

Some of my favorite memories have come year after year at the Corporate Angel Network events. Dressing up, mingling, and sharing a drink and a dinner with the who’s who in our industry was always the most delightful. To top it off, the finest entertainment of our time gave the event an added bonus of letting our hair down and dancing with all of our friends. Huey Lewis and the News, The Beach Boys, Three Dog Night just to name a few. I miss those days!

I do believe that CAN was in many ways put on the map as a result of not only NBAA but all the wonderful people that the event brought together.
