Solairus Takes First Charter G600
San Francisco-area aircraft charter and management provider Solairus Aviation has taken delivery of the first G600 intended for charter operations.
Solairus Aviation will be the first operator to provide the Gulfstream G600 for Part 135 service.

Gulfstream has delivered the first of its large cabin, ultra-long range G600s intended for charter service to San Francisco area-based Solairus Aviation. The twinjet will be based at San Francisco International Airport.

The G600, which entered service in August, has a range of 6,500 nm at Mach .85 and 5,500 nm at Mach .90, with a maximum speed of Mach .925. It can be configured for up to four living zones including an optional fixed bed.

“This aircraft immediately caught our attention when it was announced in October 2014, and it has lived up to its billing,” said Solairus CEO Dan Drohan. “Our pilots who have flown it are already fond of its revolutionary flight deck, and our discerning customers will discover that the cabin is so comfortable and functional, they will forget it's one of the fastest business jets on the market.”

Nearly one-third of Solairus’s managed fleet consists of Gulfstream jets.
