ExecuJet Plans To Relocate FBO From Cambridge Airport
ExecuJet's landlord at CBG plans to bring FBO services in-house.

The move by Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group to bring FBO services to Cambridge City Airport (EGSC) in the UK is prompting ExecuJet to seek a larger FBO location at a different UK airport, the Luxaviation unit announced today. Marshall Aerospace is ExecuJet’s landlord at EGSC.

“After nearly eight successful years of operations in Cambridge, the time is right to seek a new facility with extended capabilities,” ExecuJet Europe v-p Niclas von Planta said. “Earlier this year, operating hours were reduced at Cambridge Airport, with no flights at weekends. With the considerable growth, ExecuJet has been experiencing in Europe, we have decided to seek new premises that will better serve our client base.”

As a result, the airport will take over FBO services from ExecuJet, which has operated at Cambridge since 2012. "We've really enjoyed working with ExecuJet, who has provided an excellent service for us over the years, and we will continue to work closely with them to ensure a smooth transition in the coming weeks," said airport director Kevan Craske.

Services are expected to be fully transferred to the airport by the end of October. ExecuJet has not identified a new location to replace its FBO at EGSC, which also is scheduled to close by 2030. The company said it has seen significant growth in the past nine months, with nine new aircraft joining its fleet during the period.
