Taking a page from Signature Flight Support’s Signature Select affiliate program, French FBO chain Sky Valet has launched the Sky Valet Connect brand, which it expects will expand its international network. According to the company, which is owned by airport operator Aeroports de la Côte d'Azur, the new program will give member FBOs the opportunity to retain their independence while benefitting from market power, the reputation of the brand, and network, as well as increased international visibility.
Sky Valet currently operates at 22 locations in France, Spain, and Portugal. Under the Connect plan, it announced its first locations: one in Italy, at Cuneo International Airport near Turin, and three Omega Aviation locations in Bulgaria—at capital city Sofia; Burgas, its largest port city; and Gorna Oryahovitsa, the country’s only privately owned international airport.
“The creation of Sky Valet Connect goes hand-in-hand with our goal of becoming the leading business aviation ground handling network in Europe,” said Michel Tohane, executive vice president of the FBO chain and director of the parent company’s general aviation business unit. “This label gives us the flexibility we need to progress in structuring our network while maintaining our reputation for excellence.”
