Swiss manufacturer Kopter appointed Swiss Helikopter Norway its distributor in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Greenland, the airframer announced on the second day of Helitech in Amsterdam.

To support its role as distributor of the SH09 helicopter in the Nordic countries, Swiss Helikopter Norway has placed a firm order for four SH09 helicopters, thereby maintaining four SH09 delivery slots for customers in the region.

These four pre-ordered aircraft will be made available to customers beginning in 2021. Norwegian operator Helitrans, launch customer for the SH09 with 12 on order and six options, will provide technical support to Swiss Helikopter Norway.
