Dallas Airmotive (Booth 1600), a BBA Aviation company, has completed consolidation of four locations into one facility at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport where the company has more than 400 employees. With business growth trending upward, Dallas Airmotive is supporting a continued initiative to bolster its employee base with increased hiring efforts. The company said the growth of its personnel will help to foster relationships with customers seeking aftermarket aircraft engine repair and overhaul services.
“In the last couple of years, our team has been dedicated to building operations at DFW center with close regard for continuing to meet customer expectations,” said Mark Stubbs, chief commercial officer of global engine services for Dallas Airmotive. “It’s crucial to our success that we listen to our customers’ needs and aim to deliver to their requirements and I think we’re seeing the achievement of success reflected in our growth after the establishment of DFW center. We need new team members ready to serve the company’s missions to exceed customer expectations.”
Dallas Airmotive’s parent network, BBA Aviation, also announced a recently fulfilled personnel addition of Hugh McElroy as president and COO of the group’s global engine services (GES) companies. McElroy has 16 years of experience with BBA and is rejoining the team after a three-year departure to work as CEO of Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind.
“GES continues to be a predominant provider of engine MRO support and with the recent facility upgrades and other operational improvements, I believe we are well-positioned for continued success," said McElroy. "I look forward to leading GES to achieve long-term sustainable growth and deliver operational excellence.”
