Chad is the editor of AINalerts, AIN's daily business aviation newsletter, and is also the news editor at AIN Media Group.&nbsp;He has been writing about aviation, with an emphasis on business aviation, since 1994. Chad started his writing career at The Avion,&nbsp;the&nbsp;student newspaper at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, serving as editor-in-chief before graduating with a bachelor's in aeronautical science. After a stint as managing editor at Professional Pilot&nbsp;magazine, he joined&nbsp;AIN in late 1998. Satcom Direct today introduced SD Scheduler, a cloud-based software solution that provides&nbsp;centralized management of business aircraft and flight information, as well as customized reporting and analytics. According to the company, SD Scheduler helps corporate flight departments optimize workflows and communication across all parts of the operation, from preflight planning to post-flight reporting.

 


SD FlightLogs, the post-flight component of SD Scheduler, captures automated information that then moves through the SD Pro ecosystem to update CAMP Systems’ maintenance management system.

SD Scheduler is currently being implemented with the first 12 customers&nbsp;but also is commercially available for other flight departments.
