Langeard To Direct Dassault Falcon Aftermarket
Olivier Langeard will serve as Dassault’s new director of aftermarket programs and business development.

Dassault Falcon Jet has appointed Olivier Langeard as the company’s director of aftermarket programs and business development. Langeard’s new role will require him to provide options and solutions for the legacy Falcon fleet. These include STCs and other upgrades that help to increase aircraft safety and value. Dassault currently supports more than 1,000 classic Falcons throughout their life cycle.

Langeard joined Dassault in 2003 as a structural engineer before being named head of business development. He has a master of science in mechanical engineering, as well as an engineering degree. In his new position, Langeard will work alongside Dassault Aircraft Services and teams in France to maintain a perspective that supports a global approach. He will report directly to John Loh, senior director of customer experience.

According to Langeard, the company's most popular STC offering for classic Falcons is currently the Gogo Avance L5 air-to-ground broadband data system, which has been installed on more than 50 Falcons since being approved late last year. Other highly sought STCs allow Falcon operators to meet forthcoming ADS-B Out and FANS 1/A compliance mandates, he added.
