Boeing Business Jets’ order book for the BBJ Max program continues to grow with a contract from Singapore-based Seacons Trading for the BBJ Max 7. Announced this week at Farnborough, the latest sale brings theborder book for the BBJ Max program to 20, including 7, 8, and 9 versions.
The aircraft will join a BBJ NG and Gulfstream G550 in the Seacons Trading fleet. “We've chosen the BBJ Max 7 because it offers more room and more range,” said Seacons Trading CEO Dudy Purwagandhi. “The BBJ Max 7 has features and capability that allow us to meet our very long distance and demanding international flights with the best passenger comfort in its class."
The Max provides 14 percent improved fuel efficiency, boosting range to 7,000 nm. In addition, the Max family includes updated flight decks, lower cabin altitude, and integrated airstairs.
In addition to the Max family, Boeing Business Jets offers VIP variants of the 787, 777, and 747-8. Since the unit was founded in 1996, Boeing Business Jets has taken in orders for 259 aircraft and delivered 233.
