StandardAero is combining its Jet Aviation Specialists (JAS) and PAS Technologies brands to create StandardAero Components Services (SACS). The brand change, effective immediately, does not affect the legal entities and names of JAS and PAS Technologies. The legal entities listed on airworthiness authority certifications and releases will also remain the same.

StandardAero acquired JAS in February 2017 and PAS Technologies in May 2017. Since JAS is a component repair shop in Miami and PAS Technologies is a technology components provider with locations in the U.S., Romania, and Singapore, StandardAero has been able to expand its locations and its services while building its customer base.

“After less than a year as a part of the StandardAero family, we quickly came to the conclusion that our primary, strong brand name prevailed in the minds of both our customers and employees,” said Rick Stine, president of StandardAero components, helicopters, and accessories. “Acquiring new companies has been one of our key growth levers, and both JAS and PAS Technologies have been successfully integrated and proven to be outstanding additions to our component repair and manufacturing portfolio of services.”

SACS now has facilities in Cincinnati and Hillsboro, Ohio; Kansas City, Missouri; Miami, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; Prahova, Romania; Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada); and Asian Surface Technologies Singapore.
