John Owen, who has served as interim president of Executive AirShare for the past two months, was formally named president and CEO of the Kansas-based fractional ownership provider today. Owen takes over for company co-founder Keith Plumb, who announced in February that he was stepping down after steering the fractional provider over the past 18 years.
Owen joined Executive AirShare in 2016 as CFO after serving as vice president for national search firm EFL Associates and as CFO for OrTran, a supply-chain management company. He also has worked as principal for Capitus Group, a Leawood, Kansas-based consulting firm, where he provided CFO advisory services and developed detailed financial packages, business valuations, and analyses for clients, and has served with State Street, Accenture, and KPMG.
“We’re confident in John’s leadership during a critical point in the growth of our business,” said Wiley Curran, president and chairman of Curran Companies and management board member of Executive AirShare. “We believe his passion, experience, and extraordinary communication skills are exactly what are needed to guide our company and our talented group of professionals, who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.”
