Air charter association BACA, in coordination with PrivateFly and TAG Aviation, is holding a charity bicycle ride around Lake Geneva in the days leading up to EBACE 2018. “BACA Bikes The Lake” is open to all members of the business aviation industry, and all sponsorship money raised will be donated to fly2help, an aviation charity that “inspires positive change through the wonders of flight.”

The route around Lake Geneva is approximately 180 km (112 miles) and riders are scheduled to complete the route over two days: May 27 and 28. Those who wish to participate can enter as an individual or in teams of up to five people. The day one leg is planned to be from Geneva to Montreux, where there will be an overnight stop, before the final leg around to Geneva on day two. According to BACA, riders can choose to continue on to finish at Geneva Palexpo, where they will be greeted by colleagues and friends setting up for EBACE.

For those who wish to support the event but not take part in the bike ride, BACA has set up a donations page.
