Habco Becomes FAA Part 145 Repair Station
The Connecticut-based company has opened Habco MRO, which will operate in a separate location within Habco’s facility

Connecticut-based Habco Industries is now an FAA-certified Part 145 repair station. Named Habco MRO, this separate new business will provide repairs for airframe, powerplant and limited accessories. More product categories will be added once the new company begins to expand.

The new Habco MRO will operate in a separate location within Habco’s facility. Initially, the MRO business will focus on repairing products that involve actuation, pressure and airflow/oil flow. According to Habco Industries, this is the product category its new company can focus on based on its manufacturing and servicing experience with these products.

“Habco MRO represents a major investment for the company,” said Brian Montanari, Habco Industries president and CEO. “We’re building an employee base to meet the demanding requirements that being an FAA repair station entails for the aerospace community. Our plans are to rapidly expand the business.”

Habco Industries already offers services such as aftermarket support, airframe maintenance, component testing, engine maintenance and safety equipment. The company also offers support and test equipment such as test stands, tire-inflation cages and fuel, transmission and hydraulics parts for aerospace and defense applications.
