MRO provider Constant Aviation has opened its newest service facility, at Arizona’s Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, the fifth in the company’s network. The company also has 21 AOG locations in the U.S. Scheduled for an official grand opening on November 8, the Mesa facility is poised to be a center of excellence for Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon and Hawker/Beechjet business jets.
Constant Aviation has already received the initial project in Mesa, a Beechjet 400A slated for an ABC inspection, along with ADS-B installation. “We have used Constant Aviation previously for AOG and CARE for parts support, and we are excited to be their first customer at the Mesa location,” said Thomas Pompa, base maintenance manager for the aircraft’s owner, Jet Linx St. Louis.
Ohio-based Constant plans for the Mesa facility to eventually become a full-service MRO location with the addition of interior and paint capabilities. It is continuing to fill out its technician ranks, aiming for a total of 50 by year-end.
