Piper Aircraft (C11038, SD34) delivered 42 aircraft in the third quarter valued at $48.6 million and reported year-to-date revenue increased by 57 percent, or $45 million, from the year ago period. Unit deliveries increased by 19 compared with the same period in 2016, a 24 percent increase.

Deliveries of single-engine Archer piston aircraft increased by 55 percent versus the same period in 2016. CEO Simon Caldecott said deliveries of Piper primary trainers in 2017 are expected to reach their highest level in 14 years.
