StandardAero Business Aviation's Houston facility recently completed the first installation of an Alto Aviation Cadence Switch System (CSS) cabin management/inflight entertainment (CMS/IFE) control interface on a Dassault Falcon 900EX, StandardAero said.
"Our customer wanted a new CMS/IFE system solution that would be simple and cost-effective and we were pleased to be the first MRO to offer this enhancement for a Falcon 900EX," said Don Milum, StandardAero Business Aviation director of technical sales. "The Alto solution was the perfect fit for as the system was straightforward and simple to install, with switches fitting into existing cut-outs for very effective system integration."
The installation was done along with a 3C airframe inspection and several other enhancements, including avionics upgrades to meet upcoming mandates, CMS/IFE upgrades and Gogo ATG 4G provisioning.
StandardAero (Booth C8121) offers similar installation capabilities at its three other business aviation MRO facilities, in Augusta, Georgia; Springfield, Illinois; and Los Angeles.
