MSB Teams with Field Aviation on Cabin Interiors
The Canadian design and engineering firm has a solid portfolio of work for Bombardier Embraer and Gulfstream.

MSB Group (Booth N4429) is now supporting Field Aviation with monument engineering design and manufacturing services for several of the Canadian aircraft modification specialist’s complex cabin interior projects, the company announced on Monday at NBAA 2017.

Pursuant to that support, interior engineering specialists from the Montreal-based MSB Ressources Globales division are producing custom-built cabinets, while sister company MSB Design is providing the component manufacturing support. MSB parent company Sogeclair Aerospace is complementing the team by performing stress analysis and certification planning for the projects.

“Field Aviation was looking for a specialty partner that had the ability to manage the engineering, manufacturing and delivery of the interior monuments, so that its team could focus on the other aspects of the aircraft modification,” said Robert Lodge, MSB’s business development manager. “The fact we had our site in Montreal and our new facility in Savannah [Georgia], also supported our selection."

According to Ian Baldeo, Field Aviation’s program manager, “The timeline for this project is very demanding and MSB’s responsiveness, flexibility, knowledge and contributions have been invaluable.”

Lodge anticipates that further collaboration with Field Aviation is possible. Other current MSB clients include Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream, for whom MSB provides galley inserts, single pedestal Hi-Lo conference tables and interior monuments.
