Aircraft exterior design firm Scheme Designers (Booth N321) is celebrating its 20th anniversary throughout 2017 and will mark the occasion here at the NBAA show by featuring a "selection of notable designs of various makes and models that represent some of the most memorable designs" across the business aircraft, owner-built, warbird and helicopter categories. The New Jersey-based company, which creates custom designs for individuals, coorporations and airline fleets, said "there are over 12,000 aircraft sporting Scheme Designers designs in 140 countries," and that "over half of the OEMs delivering new aircraft have worked with Scheme Designers to develop the exterior styling for their factory-new models."
The company prides itself on the careful process it employs with each new aircraft to ensure client satisfaction. After doing an initial "stylistic analysis," Scheme Designers will provide four to six preliminary designs and a project-specific website that helps to keep the customer informed. During any phase of the project, the client is able to view live design sessions via a direct computer-to computer connection. Scheme Designers is also able to create 3D static and dynamic renderings of possible designs for customers who need more than just a "profile and planview."
