Clay Lacy Aviation is offering $30,000 off the cost of a FANS 1/A+ and ADS-B OUT installation for operators of Gulfstream GIV/Vs and Bombardier Challenger 601s who place a deposit by Jan. 1, 2018, and have the installation done by Jan. 1, 2019. Specifically, the installation is available for the GIV, GIV-SP and GV and Bombardier Challenger 601-3A, 601-3AER and 601-3R.

“The January 2020 deadline for ADS-B and FANS will not change. The thousands of aircraft needing the upgrade will exceed capacity and prices will rise,” said director of avionics Jim Lauer. “Our offer enables Gulfstream and Challenger owners to enjoy considerable savings and beat the [ADS-B] deadline by a full year.”

The Gulfstream FANS upgrade can use the airplane’s existing Honeywell MCS-6000 Aero H satcom, but Clay Lacy Aviation also offers packages with a qualified Iridium satcom. Both the Gulfstream and Challenger STCs are EASA approved and include European ATN (formerly Link 2000+) capability.

Clay Lacy Aviation is also offering a promotion for Universal Avionics dealers that purchase two Clay Lacy FANS/ADS-B STCs: a third STC free if they make the purchases before Jan. 1, 2018.
