Dumont Group is planning to give away nearly $200,000 toward the cost of services during tomorrow’s NBAA Regional Forum at Morristown Airport (MMU) in New Jersey. The company, which provides maintenance, charter, management and other services, will have a Gulfstream GIV-SP on static display during the event. “The regional [forums] have been a great opportunity in the past,” said director Dan Piraino, who noted it has helped the company connect with charter brokers.
As for the giveaways, Dumont MRO is offering three prizes that would be used toward services. The winners pay $50,000 and will receive either a $100,000 paint completion for a midsize aircraft that includes full strip, solid color and two stripe colors at Dumont’s Fort Worth, Texas facility; a $100,000 interior completion, including seats, belts, lower side walls and divan at its New Castle, Delaware shop; or $120,000 Wi-Fi installation, also performed at New Castle. Dumont Jets, meanwhile, is offering a $70,000 three-day charter trip from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Van Nuys, California, with the GIV-SP. The winner also would pay $50,000 for this prize.
The one-day forum at Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU) provides a venue for those in the business aviation community to network, as well as host educational sessions and discuss regional issues. The Morristown event, the third of three forums NBAA had scheduled this year, will also include exhibits and static displays of aircraft.
