The International Business Aviation Council’s (IBAC) International Standard for Business Aviation Handling (IS-BAH) continues to receive growing acceptance around the world, as China’s Deer Jet has become the first service provider in the nation to achieve registration under the voluntary safety management system-based set of industry best practices. Deer Jet, the largest private jet operator in Asia, operates a chain of nine FBOs in China, and its locations at Sanya and Haikou are its first to be recognized under IS-BAH Stage I. The company expects the rest of its locations will eventually follow suit.
“We are very proud to add up a new benchmark of excellence for our industry, as the largest FBO network in China,” said company vice president Frank Fang. “Deer Jet is the first to implement the IS-BAH standards and to support the international industry in improving the high standards in safety and quality.”
Deer Jet's facilities at Sanya Phoenix International and Haikou Meilan International airports are open 24/7 and offer assistance with China inspection and quarantine (CIQ) services.
