Aviation insurance provider USAIG is collaborating with Sporty’s to offer one-year subscriptions for two pilots to Sporty’s Takeoff App Pro with new owner-pilot aircraft policies. The offer, valued at just under $120 for two pilots, would provide owners access to the Takeoff App along with exclusive “Pro Version” content on iOS devices.

The app is designed as a “daily companion” for pilots of all skill levels with information designed to help pilots fly safely and have fun. The app shares experiences, tips and other information from accomplished pilots. Users can customize topics to match skills and preferences and receive notifications when new content is available.

Owner-pilot policies cover general aviation aircraft that are piloted by an owner/owner-associate and typically used for a combination of business and personal flying.

In addition to offering the Takeoff App for new policies, existing policyholders can receive a 25 percent discount off the $59.99 base cost of the app when they renew their insurance with USAIG.
