Textron Aviation has delivered the 2,000th aircraft from its Cessna Citation CJ family, the company announced today. The milestone aircraft—a Citation CJ3+—was delivered to longtime Citation customer Marc Dulude at Textron Aviation’s headquarters in Wichita.

The CJ series, including the current-production Citation M2, CJ3+ and CJ4, has reached nearly five million flight hours. Out-of-production models in the family include the original CitationJet and Citation CJ1, CJ1+, CJ2+ and CJ3.

Dulude currently serves on the board of directors for the Citation Jet Pilots Association and has owned and operated a Citation Mustang and, later, a Citation M2. “Textron Aviation has been a trusted partner throughout my ownership experience, which made staying in the family an easy choice,” he said. “The CJ3+ has the range, speed and performance I was looking for, and was a natural transition for me from my M2.”
