China-based business aviation services firm Deer Jet is beginning to offer a new “Dream Journey” travel model with the goal of attracting new passengers by “making travel an art.” The first such journey involves a Hong Kong-Tahiti flight aboard a Boeing BBJ 787.
Deer Jet took over management of the Hong Kong-based “Dream Jet” in September. The aircraft, with its 220-sq-m (2,368-sq-ft) cabin, is equipped with a range of top-end amenities and entertainment options, and includes private spaces for guests, crew and service staff, Deer Jet said. BAS Guernsey Limited is operating the BBJ 787, while Deer Jet is marketing the the excursions.
The company is eyeing a broader customer base for the itinerary, Deer Jet said, adding, “Once at the destination, guests uncover the magic of Tahiti as experienced by selected few.” Deer Jet plans to add more itineraries in the near future, and already has begun hosting initial customers aboard the bizliner.
