Aircraft maintenance tracking firm Traxxall Technologies added a new office in Wichita. The move, which Traxxall said was driven by its expanding client base, follows the opening of an office in Jacksonville, Florida, late last year.
Established almost four years ago, the Montreal-based firm provides maintenance tracking and inventory management services to customers in some 20 countries, including locations such as South Africa, Morocco and China. Traxxall also has struck partnerships with UK-based RocketRoute and Rockwell Collins’s ArincDirect to expand its services and capabilities.
“Our continued growth has given us the opportunity to expand,” said Traxxall president Mark Steinbeck. “We targeted Wichita because it is the aviation capital—home to Beechcraft, Bombardier Learjet and Cessna, among others, and a rich community of talented aviation and maintenance tracking experts.” Steinbeck estimated the office would be home to 10 to 15 new employees by the end of the year.
The office initially will be staffed by existing Traxxall employees and Wichita residents Jeff Rians and Robert Peterson. Joining them will be James Carter, a U.S. Air Force veteran who has 14 years of aviation experience; Christopher Mercer, who formerly was a logistics analyst with Boeing who served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years; and Coby Smith, another U.S. Air Force veteran who spent 10 years at Cessna and most recently was a supervisor with Hawker Beechcraft.
In addition, Elija Stepp joined the firm. Stepp, who will be based in Las Vegas, has more than 35 years of industry experience, including with Satcom Direct and Camp Systems.
The company further has professionals in Dallas; Denver; Long Island, New York; Charleston, South Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; Scottsdale, Arizona; and Philadelphia.
