Amsterdam-based JetSupport opened a facility at Lelystad Airport (LEY) on April 5. The facility features a hangar, workshops and a lounge that will be used to support the company’s regional services.

The MRO company will see more aircraft at Lelystad Airport as the Dutch Council of State recently approved an expansion project. The runway will be extended to 2,700 meters by 45 meters (approximately 8,858 feet by 147 feet) so that larger aircraft, such a commercial flights from Schiphol Airport, will be able to use the facility.

JetSupport offers services such as engine maintenance, cabin and cockpit system retrofits and airframe inspections. The company also offers local support for avionics as well as engine and airframe AOG situations. Its main Amsterdam facility features an avionics shop that offers support services and holds approvals from the FAA/EASA/TCCA/VP-C .
