Robotic Skies formed a partnership to provide sales, installation and field support for uAvionix drone avionics, the company announced at AEA 2017. Robotic Skies has created a global network of aircraft service centers—primarily Part 145 avionics service providers—that also specialize in drone support.
Products made by uAvionix include the Ping2020 ADS-B transceiver, Ping200S ADS-B transponder and Fyxnav SBAS GPS receiver, which recently received FAA TSO C-199 approval. The company’s products are small and light enough to fit on lightweight drones.
"Companies like uAvionix and Robotic Skies represent the future of the unmanned aerospace industry,” said Robotic Skies president and CEO Brad Hayden. “Our products and services are specifically designed to support the safe integration of drone aircraft into the aviation ecosystem. We are excited to count uAvionix as a manufacturing partner, and look forward to servicing their customers now, and as the unmanned market develops.”
