Flight 1549 Crewmember To Keynote at TXT Customer Event
Welsh will recount the “awe-inspiring story of her first-hand account” of that fateful flight for Citation, King Air and Hawker customers.

Doreen Welsh, one of the crewmembers aboard U.S. Airways Flight 1549 (aka “Miracle on the Hudson”), will be the keynote speaker at Textron Aviation’s 2017 U.S. customer conference, which will be held April 24 to 26 in Wichita. Welsh will recount for Citation, King Air and Hawker customers at the annual conference the “awe-inspiring...first-hand account” of that fateful flight.

“We are honored to host Doreen as she shares her riveting account of that unforgettable day with our customer conference attendees,” said Textron Aviation senior vice president of customer service Kriya Shortt. “Each year we are privileged to bring our customers together to share and collaborate on topics relevant to the ownership and maintenance of their aircraft, as well as showcase the latest available technologies and provide company updates.”

Throughout the three-day event, customers will have access to Textron Aviation leaders and can attend a variety of seminars from subject matter experts and supplier representatives on nearly every aspect of aircraft maintenance and operation. Conference seminars will be grouped either by aircraft model or by topic, including new products, fleet operations, airspace management and international operations.

In addition to suppliers exhibiting their technologies and services, attendees can tour the Textron Aviation facilities in Wichita, as well as have access to a static display showcasing the company’s jet and turboprop products, including the new Citation Hemisphere cabin mockup.
