The approval covers the Garmin GTN 650/7560 installation for Primus 1000-equipped Citation Bravo, Ultra, Encore and Excel jets.s

Colorado-based aftermarket aircraft solutions provider JetTech has received STC approval from the FAA to install the touchscreen Garmin GTN 650/750 GPS navcoms on all 550B and 560-series Cessna Citations equipped with the Primus 1000 avionics. According to the company, the system is engineered for autopilot-coupled LPV WAAS approaches and includes a voice-activated intercom and ADS-B IN and OUT.

“Owners and operators of these aircraft have been looking for this kind of a dynamic touchscreen solution to upgrade their cockpits, “ said company founder and manager Rob Irwin. “With the LPV integrated feature, pilots will have the highest degree of situational awareness available while opening up many more airport destinations that were served only by WAAS approaches.”

The installation is available for the more than 1,000 in-service Citation Bravos, Ultras, Encores and Excels equipped with Primus 1000.
