JetNet Adding Live-aircraft Tracking to Aerodex
Users can see FAA-registered flights with activity from England, Ireland, Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean in real time.

Business aviation information provider JetNet is launching live-aircraft tracking services for FBO, MROs and flight-line service providers. The direct data feed from the FAA will be part of the company’s Aerodex product and demonstrated at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in two weeks in Fort Worth, Texas.

Users of the JetNet Aerodex service will be able to see FAA-registered flights with activity from England, Ireland, Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean in real time. Its Aerodex service automatically tracks and updates 21,674 business jets, 15,045 turboprops and 5,207 piston airframes worldwide, down to the serial-number level. Available data includes aircraft information, such as ownership, landing cycles and base of operation; company fleets; certifications; chief pilots; directors of maintenance; liens/lien releases; and viewable scanned FAA documents.

Combined with the flight-tracking data, the new Aerodex Airport Uplift search capabilities will focus on aircraft flight patterns, fuel consumption and enhanced predictors for key maintenance and inspection events. “Aerodex easily converts what happens at the airports every day into a prospect list you can work with confidence,” said JetNet.

At the S&D show, the company will demonstrate the capabilities of Aerodex Airport Uplift by highlighting separate top 500 lists of operators by total uplift, airport pairs, originations and destinations.
