Deal included the Executive Aircraft Maintenance name and both the maintenance and avionics operations at the Arizona airport.

RCA Avionics recently completed its acquisition of Executive Aircraft Maintenance (EAM) in Scottsdale, Arizona, from Copperstate Turbine Engine (CTEC). The deal included the Executive Aircraft name and both the maintenance and avionics operations. EAM is a Class III FAA Part 145 repair station.

According to RCA, the acquisition will allow EAM to expand its maintenance and avionics capabilities, which currently include King Air, Twin Commanderand Citation inspections and line maintenance and sheet metal repairs/modifications, as well as Raisbeck and Blackhawk modifications. On the avionics side, EAM can do ADS-B installations from all the major avionics manufacturers on aircraft up to midsize jets, Datacom installations, cockpit retrofits, autopilot installations and general avionics troubleshooting and repair.

Jeff Coffman, founder of a Phoenix-based Part 91 aircraft management and sales firm, has been named president and CEO of EAM. The facility will continue to maintain a close working relationship with CTEC, which will continue to offer engine and machine shop services, as well as its FBO in Glendale, Arizona.
